I have always loved Kaledoscopes and have a small collection.
Kaleidoscopes are a metaphor for me for applying emotional intelligence to the situations of leaderhsip.
Looking into a Kaleidoscope reveals the way something is, I may like it and want to keep it the same and the fact is , it will very soon show signs of change whether I turn the Kaleidoscope or not. That is the way leadership shifts as well.
Or I may not like what I see and I then have the challenge and opportunity of making the amount of twist or turn on the Kaleidoscope that will create a new reality.
Either way, Kaleidoscopes are a tangible reminder of what I have the power to do in each reality that arises.
There will always be different views, frames of reference, or perspectives and I get to move with the changes and inspire others to rise to the challenges and opportunities we will face together.
What kind of Kaledoscope thinking do you need to bring to a present reality tha you are being challenged with?
What is your first step to the new frame of reference?
What is one thing you can do to add value?
